After a 14-point loss to No. 1 Duke in the finals of the CBE Classic, the Kansas State Wildcats were looking to bounce back. For three-fourths of Friday night's game they did just that, playing in a manner that reflects the team's current No. 4 ranking. The Wildcats topped the Texas State Tigers 84-60 in a game that they led by as many as 39 points. "For the first 32 or 33 minutes," Coach Frank Martin said, "I thought that was as well as we have played."
