Kansas State's first appearance in INSTRUST Bank Arena was a memorable one, albeit a painful one. That was apparent as the Wildcats staggered dejectedly off the court following an 85-80 double-overtime loss to West Virginia late Thursday night. It was also evident in the distant post-game gaze of junior guard Rodney McGruder, whose season high-tying 20 points just weren't enough in front of the sellout crowd of 15,004 that reached Bramlage Coliseum-like decibels.
