When you really think about it, Frank Martin was the perfect fit for Kansas State's basketball program. K-State fans are passionate, they expect the most from their basketball programs and they've also been known to be a bit angry. Just like Martin. The two coexisted for five seasons in hectic harmony. Each side would get upset with the other; Martin for occasional lack of attendance, fans for poor starts to conference play on an annual basis.
