Kynard still digesting Olympic dreams

Wind rips through his cell phone and the voice of Erik Kynard, Jr. crackles on the other end from Eugene, Ore., on Tuesday afternoon. Seventeen hours after making the U.S. Olympic men's high jump team, he hurries to a building to attend a three-hour class. He says he has no idea what the class is about.
