The day is meant as a tribute to Kansas State fans. The football program's fan appreciation day during the last hour of practice on Saturday was exactly that. There were no guarantees of a national title or a Big 12 Conference championship, and no bravado on the field or in the words spoken to a couple thousand fans at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
