The five suitcases from London remain unpacked inside the apartment. Erik Kynard, Jr. now gets stopped regularly on the Kansas State campus for an autograph, a picture, or a kind word. Sixteen days after Kynard took the silver medal in the high jump at the Olympics, Kynard spoke to reporters on Thursday about his whirlwind adventure and his attempt to return to normalcy as a senior intent upon conquering even more in track and field.
