Kansas State junior Shane Southwell saw it coming. With less than 10 seconds to play and clinging to a one-point lead at West Virginia, the junior watched fellow teammate Angel Rodriguez deflect the ball into the backcourt. Keeping an eye on his man, Southwell, the player responsible for giving the Wildcats the lead just seconds earlier, knew he was the last line of defense when Mountaineers guard Gary Browne attacked the basket at full speed.
