Wildcats plan to greet Texas with defense

GoPowercat.com KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas State was loose and free as they took the Sprint Center court for practice Wednesday afternoon and the attitude for the moment seemed appropriate. The Wildcats were 27 hours from their opening game of the Big 12 Tournament and on the very floor that helped jump-start their run towards the program's first conference championship in 36 years. At the time, they didn't know they were playing Texas on Thursday, but they didn't need to. The players and coaches were comfortable in their surroundings and genuinely happy to be together.
