Jayhawks land quarterback commitment

JayhawkSlant.com Not many recruiting analysts knew about A.J. Steward. But those familiar with high school football in St. Louis did.
Steward is a quarterback at Riverview Gardens High, which plays in the Suburban North, arguably the best conference year in and year out in Missouri.
Kansas State and Indiana were the first to get film and showed heavy interest. Steward said Kansas State was in touch with him often but wanted him to play either quarterback, receiver, or outside linebacker. Indiana has been recruiting heavy after receiving film.
But Steward said Kansas is the place that wanted him at the position he wants to play.
