Rutgers reels in two quarterbacks
A rainy evening suddenly heated up with the news that not one - but two - of the nation's most intriguing quarterbacks have reportedly pledged their services to Rutgers University.
With one of the NCAA's most rapidly improving offensive lines, as well as the northeast's most exciting receiving corps, it was only a matter of time before the Scarlet Knights reeled in some top signal callers to steer them into the endzone.
Tonight's news includes the confirmed commitment of Ewing quarterback Stephen Shimko and the not-yet-confirmed commitment of Florida's D.C. Jefferson.
Jefferson was unavailable for comment this evening, but sources close to the player have been predicting a commitment for months. The #17 dual threat quarterback in the country reportedly chose Rutgers over offers from LSU, Tennessee, Boston College and others.
