One of the more intriguing prospects in Central Texas for the class of 2009 is Waco High defender Andrew Weaver. At 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds, the talented junior is athletic enough to line up at a number of positions.

It is enough for college programs to take notice and Weaver is being pursued heavily by a trio of Big 12 schools.

"Right now I'm hearing a lot from Texas A&M, OSU and Missouri," he said. "Those are the main three, so far."
