After last weeks historical game against the USC Trojans, the Oregon State defense showed that they are for real against a very talented Utah team. Although the Beavers couldn't hang on to the victory, the defense played a sound game, led by Slade Norris who set a Giant Killer Stone Award points record for the season, with 20.50 defensive points for the game.
Congratulations to back-up safety Austin Hall for his strong performance and linebacker Keaton Kristick who continued to shine and make big plays for the Beavers in Salt Lake City. Honorable mention goes out to tackle Stephen Paea and Al Afalava who both had great games as well.
