GoPowercat.com The quest to land a sought-after quarterback rolls on in Manhattan, as Kansas State became the first school to extend an offer to Cameron Newton, who functioned as the backup to Florida's Tim Tebow before transferring to Blinn (Texas) Community College this offseason. The battle to land Newton, a five-star prospect out of high school, will be hard-fought, but if there's something to be said for being along for the ride from the start, it will work in the Wildcats' favor.
