As expected, a few more players left the men's basketball program at Washington State University. This time, it was the guard trio of Michael Harthun, John Allen and Anthony Brown who were officially granted their releases and will transfer from the Washington State University men's basketball program at the end of the semester. All three had been rumored to be considering departure since the end of the regular season.

"We support the decisions made by Mike, John and Anthony and wish them nothing but good things," Wazzu head men's hoop coach Ken Bone said. "I've enjoyed coaching these three young men over the last year and appreciate the contributions they've made to the program."

Harthun saw action in 26 of WSU's 31 games this season, averaging 9.5 minutes an outing. The Medford, Ore., native averaged 1.7 points and nearly one rebound a game as a sophomore after playing 6.0 minutes per game in 14 contests as a freshman.

Brown, a native of Spokane, Wash., saw action in three games for the Cougs this season, averaging two minutes an outing. A walk-on, Allen saw action in 13 games as a redshirt freshman in 2009-10. The Brier, Wash. native averaged 3.3 minutes and 0.5 points a game.
