So far so good as far as your attendance for the four football games in non-conference play. However, as of publishing this article, Robin Fosha, the ticket office manager, informed me we are far short of capacity for the four remaining home games and quite short of selling out our allotment to the four road games in conference play including Iowa State this Saturday. Although, the 11/7 game vs. KU might naturally sell out, as of right now this is an embarrassment.

Now if today's football team had the exact same expectations as the Florida Alligators have right now, all of the remaining eight games in conference play would be sold out by now. Despite the prevailing economic situation, some how some way you would be there. So why are so many of you waiting until 2011 or 2012, whenever we are pitched to win it all? Now if you can at all certainly be at the remaining games in conference play but won't attend then not only are you a Jayhawk, you are a disgrace to the Wildcats.

I made a promise to John Currie that I would guarantee him the last four home games be sold out and our remaining allotment to the four road games in conference play sold out. I fully intend to keep that promise. You will not disgrace me any further.

If you are visiting or calling the ticket office as a direct response to this article then please mention that directly to whoever takes your order for tickets. The ticket office number is (800) 221-Cats.

If I cannot make any difference here as far as helping to increase ticket sales and attendance then submitting these articles to this web site is just a complete waste of my time. Please copy this article off your computer and pass it around so that eventually the entire K-State nation reads this article.

Buy My Foam Hand at Ballards Sporting Goods
Did you know that the foam hand I am always seen with on game days is available for sale at Ballards Sporting Good in Aggieville? I always get overrun samples to use whenever I write the orders for Ballards. Ballards sporting Goods is open on game day Saturdays 8-5 for morning and afternoon games & 8-7 for night games. Right after buying the tickets, I can't think of a better way to support the Wildcats than to stop in Aggieville before the game and sell out my foam hands from Ballards Sporting Goods.
Thank you.

Oops
I closed my last article with the 2nd Rose Bowl being on January 8th. It is on January 7th. Also I mistakenly told several tailgates on the 9/5 opener that my next east side will be 11/7 vs. KU. No it is actually 10/24 vs. the Buffaloes when once again I will visit tailgates on the east side paved stadium lot only. I apologize for the oversight.

Editors Note: Known as K-State's greatest fan, Robert J. Lispon will be attending his 139th consecutive conference football road game against I-State at Arrowhead Stadium.
