Kelly has tremendous upside at QB
Rocky Mountain quarterback Alex Kelly has not traditionally been
behind center but he has made an outstanding transition to the position.
And with the more snaps he takes, the better this junior gets. In this
premium article, we caught up with Rocky Mountain head football coach Mark Brook
and talked to him about Kelly, his upside, and much more.
What type of player is he?
"Alex is a great leader for us at quarterback. He had an injury this
year for us but even when he was injured, his leadership was still there.
He brings a great deal of poise and leadership to the team. The kids look
to him for leadership and he accepts that role."
What is his main strength at this point in his career?
"If you look at his leadership and how he approaches things, the kids
respect him. He doesn't demand respect but the kids give it to him.
Not a lot of people will work harder and he is extremely competitive. If
anyone is hardest on him, it is himself."
