Oceanside Center favors the Bruins

Sam Brenner (6-3, 270, 5.0) from Oceanside (Calif.) is one of the top center prospects along the west coast. He was named all-everything as a junior. UCLA is one of his favorite schools.

As a junior, Brenner was named first team all-CIF in the San Diego Section. He also first team earned all-league and all-North County honors. "I have really good technique," Brenner boasts. "I am aggressive and I have great football smarts."

He plays tackle at O-side, but will definitely be a center or guard in college. Brenner says he has grown an inch since attending a Rivals.com junior day. He has also upped his bench max 20 pounds to 325 and his squat max 30 pounds to 435. Brenner power cleans 291.
