Curry one of camp's best

Ft. Worth, Texas - He came from being a quarterback with one offer on the table to a prospect whose stock is ready to soar. All transpired over the weekend for Elysian Fields, Texas signal caller Tim Curry who is a soft commit for UTEP, after attending the Elite 11 and Nike Training Camp last weekend on the campus of TCU.

The 6-foot-4, 192 pounder has maintained that although he's committed, he's still listening to other schools and several should be filling his mailbox with interest and possible offers after his strong performance.

Of all the quarterbacks in attendance Curry had many in the crowd commenting that he was one of the top quarterbacks at the Elite 11 on Friday and was regarded as the second best at the Nike Training Camp. Curry routinely hit passes of all facets, long, short, out, in, and he did it with a lot of velocity and accuracy.

The Purplemenace.com staff spoke with Curry each day to get his review of his performance and recruitment.

How do you think you performed out there today?

"I did pretty good," Curry said after his Elite 11 performance. "I did alright coming in but I feel I could've done a little better. I liked throwing the route that was somewhat of a snag. It was where the receiver came into the slot position so it's pretty much like a short hitch, I was throwing that pretty good."
