Utes add first in-state commit

Kyle Whittingham and the Utes have received their third verbal commitment of the recruiting season from a WR out of Copper Hills High School (West Jordan, Utah). Of the recruiting priorities for 2008, receiver ranks up there towards the top and the Utes have stressed the importance of bringing in local talent to the program. After a stellar showing at the Utah High School Football Camp recently, a local product can now lay claim to being the first in-state commit for the program this year.

Kendrick Moeai (6-4, 195) made it official by making his pledge to play for coach Whit in '08 after an unexpected offer came his way recently.
