CSU commits in action this weekend

With the 2007 football season already a few weeks in, that means players
throughout the country are working hard in order to help their team win games.
Among those players are the known athletes who have pledged a commitment to
Colorado State. Find out more about these athletes now!

Andy Clements - Chatfield - Athlete

After the team struggled at times last fall with an inexperienced group,
Chatfield currently sits at 2-0 with big wins against Palmer and Pomona.
Those two victories have helped the team get off to a good start but the
schedule gets much tougher down the stretch. The first of those tests
starts on Friday night as Clements and his teammates will be battling a Bear
Creek team that is 2-0 and just came off a hard fought win against Arvada West.
Clements is playing linebacker on defense and wide receiver/athlete on the
offensive side of things.

Ben DeLine - Steamboat Springs - Kicker

After opening the season with a win against Kent Denver, Steamboat Springs has
lost two straight games and will be hoping to get out of that funk this weekend.
On Friday night, they will be matching up against a 2-0 Eagle Valley team so it
will not be an easy run. DeLine has been focusing on kicking the ball and
does what he can for the team.

Jake Landers - Durango - Lineman

After losing their opener, Landers and his teammates have come together and won
their last two games in resounding fashion. Because of their location,
they will be playing another game out of state. This week it comes against
a team from Aztec, New Mexico that Landers mentioned has a history of making the
playoffs and winning State titles in New Mexico.
