In-state big man in search of first offer
With his senior season complete, LeRoi Edwards is hopeful that his performance on the gridiron this fall was good enough to earn him a scholarship offer.
The 6-foot-4, 277-pound lineman from Kent (Wash.) helped Kentridge High to the playoffs. But they lost in the first round to Mariner, 21-17.
Edwards started on both sides of the line in high school, but projects as an offensive lineman for the college level.
"A lot of colleges have been requesting senior film," he explained. "Washington, Washington State, Oregon, Oregon State, Cal, Stanford, some of the Ivy League schools and a bunch of other small schools [have requested film]."
