Highlands quarterback Patrick Towles continued his high-octane season, needing only a half of playing time to toss for seven touchdowns in a blowout win, and Central Hardin defensive lineman Patrick Graffree made 15 tackles in his team's runaway victory.

Stephenson (6-0) won 34-6. Sweat has two punt-return and two kickoff-return TDs this season, and his special-teams play drew rave reviews from Stephenson coach Ron Gartrell in an article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution last week. "We've never had anybody like that on special teams at Stephenson, and we've had some pretty good returners," Gartrell said. "He sees the hole, and he is gone. There's not any cutting, dancing around or trying to make people miss. He finds the seam, and he's gone. He is as fast and explosive as anybody we've ever had at Stephenson." That's lofty praise from a coach who has had dozens of Divsion I football signees the past several years. Next game: Vs. Langston Hughes, Friday.
Jordan Swindle, OL, St. Johns, Fla., Creekside, 6-8, 308. Last week: Creekside (5-1) rushed for 232 yards, passed for 226 and scored TDs on seven of its nine first-half possessions in a 47-18 rout of Menendez, according to The St. Augustine Record. He has rushed for 1,129 yards, averaging 7.6 per carry, and 10 TDs on the season for Liberty County (2-4).
