K-State sells out Auburn game

K-State's highly-anticipated football matchup with Auburn on September 18 is officially sold out, while a limited number of tickets for the remaining six contests at Bill Snyder Family Stadium will be available for purchase online beginning Wednesday, department officials have announced.
Fewer than 500 tickets remain available for the Stephen F. Austin (Aug. 30), Texas Tech (Oct. 4) and Texas (Oct. 25) matchups, and fewer than 1,300 tickets are available for the season finale against KU on Nov. 29. Only scattered singles and restricted view seating are available for the UTEP (Sept. 27) and Oklahoma State (Nov. 1) games.

"K-State fans have stepped up again and are on the verge of another sold-out season at Bill Snyder Family Stadium," said Athletics Director John Currie. "We are closing in on 20 consecutive sellouts and expect to do so before the season begins, and we appreciate our fans' support in making Bill Snyder Family Stadium on gamedays the best environment in the Big 12."
Fans can also still order a combo package for $120 which includes a ticket to three games, choosing from the SFA or UTEP matchup, plus either the Texas Tech or Oklahoma State game, and either the Texas or KU game.
A limited number of standing-room-only tickets on the Northeast hill will go on sale June 16 at 8:30 a.m., by phone, online and in-person for all sold-out games except Auburn and Texas Tech (Fort Riley Day). A maximum of eight tickets per game, per account, are allowed.
The Wildcats open the season August 30 against Stephen F. Austin in a game that will be broadcast exclusively on K-StateHD.TV. Kickoff is slated for 6:10 p.m., at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. K-StateHD.TV programming will begin at 5:10 p.m., with its K-State Gameday show featuring Brian Smoller.
