TYRONE HOWELL COMMITS

Kansas State dipped into the Hutchinson Community College football pool yet again when they grabbing their second player from last year's national championship team. Tyrone Howell will come in along with Blue Dragon teammate Kingsley Ugwu.

It provides more depth for the K-State offense. A write-up of his decision was concocted by KSO's Derek Young.

BROOKS NAMED TO PRESEASON ALL-BIG 12 TEAM

The honors keep racking up for Phillip Brooks, as he was named to the preseason All-Big 12 team as a kick and punt returner.

Brooks also received All-American honors last season as a kick and punt returner but also as a preseason All-American for this upcoming season. Both of the honors were awarded by Phil Steele.

Brooks will enter the 2021 season ranking second in school history and tied for sixth in Big 12 history with three punt return touchdowns, which led players nationally last season.

QUION WILLIAMS UPDATE

Three-star 2022 target Quion Williams gave insight on his thoughts of Bruce Weber and Kansas State in an update from KSO's Grant Flanders last week.

"He said he liked my dog mentality," Williams shared. "How I'm a leader. And he likes the way I'm able to be a guard."
