Cox to televise two K-State hoops games
Kansas State athletics announced Wednesday a partnership with Cox Communications to televise two upcoming Wildcat basketball games -- the women's home game against Northwestern on Sunday and the men's contest versus Alabama on December 19 from Mobile, Ala.
The men's game will be televised live on Ch. 98 in the state of Kansas to all Cox subscribers, while the women's contest will be live on Kansas Now 22, Ch. 22 throughout the state.

K-State's television team of Ben Boyle (play-by-play) and Stan Weber (analyst) will call the men's game from Mobile, while Brian Smoller (play-by-play) and Missy Heidrick (analyst) will call the women's game. Dave Riggert will fill in for Smoller on the K-State Sports Network for the game with Kristin Waller serving as analyst.
Cox already carries all of K-State's coaches' television shows, including the Frank Martin and Deb Patterson Shows, as well as GoPowercat.com's Deep Purple, a weekly TV show independent of the university's athletic department.
The addition of the Alabama game on Cox gives K-State the most comprehensive men's basketball television schedule in its history, as all 21 remaining contests will be televised.
The women's basketball team already has seven televised games scheduled for the season, including three national broadcasts during Big 12 play.
