KSO is going to help you get to know all of the members of the 2018 Kansas State recruiting class who were not present for spring football.

We continue this series with Sunflower State speed demon Ekow Boye-Doe.

1. When do you plan to get to Manhattan?

I'll be there June 3rd.

2. What’s your height and weight right this moment?

I'm 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds.

3. What fellow recruits/current players are you talking most with?

Really, all of them. We have a group chat and we all converse with one another. And I feel like I chat with a lot of the players. I have a lot that I know pretty well.

4. What have you been working on since your season ended?

I'm recovering from a labrum injury, actually. I've still been able to work on my craft some at cornerback, and mostly just technique with my footwork. I've been trying some new things. Other than that, it's mainly focus on recovering and rehabbing the labrum injury.

5. What would you need to get better at to play early?

First off, I need to be physically stronger. Secondly, I need to play smarter on the field.

6. What are your goals for your first season?

It is just to progress as a student-athlete.

7. Tell me something people think is unique about you?

I was born in Ghana.

8. What school finished second in your recruitment?

Tulane.

9. What assistant are you the closest with?

I'm definitely closest with Coach (Collin) Klein and Coach (Taylor) Braet.

10. What advice would you give to other recruits after going through the process?

Keep your head straight and focused on the right things. Focus on yourself and what you can do better and nothing else. There's a lot of distractions to avoid. Just focus on yourself and grind. It will all work out well.
