KSO is going to help you get to know all of the members of the 2018 Kansas State recruiting class who were not present for spring football.

We continue this series with quarterback John Holcombe.

1. When do you plan to get to Manhattan?

June 1.

2. What’s your height and weight right this moment?

I'm 6-foot-5 and 235 pounds right now.

3. What fellow recruits/current players are you talking most with?

Christian Duffie, of course, because we are teammates. Also Lance Robinson, Malik (Knowles) and Jaylen Pickle.

4. What have you been working on since your season ended?

My whole game. I didn't want to focus too heavy on one part and lose another.

5. What would you need to get better at to play early?

Being more of a leader.

6. What are your goals for your first season?

I just want to earn some playing time.

7. Tell me something people think is unique about you?

I'm a whole buck, probably even a buck fifty on the basketball court. Catch me in the rec league. (NOTE: I think that means he thinks he can get buckets)

8. What school finished second in your recruitment?

SMU.

9. What assistant are you the closest with?

Taylor Braet for President. He is the "GOAT" for real.

10. What advice would you give to other recruits after going through the process?

Enjoy the process and don't get discouraged. With hard work and dedication, everything will start to fall into place, even if it is in your senior year. Remain humble and always give praise to the most high above.
