We continue this series with versatile Louisiana defensive back Lance Robinson.
1. When do you plan to get to Manhattan?
I move in June 2.
2. What’s your height and weight right this moment?
I'm 5-foot-11, 183 pounds.
3. What fellow recruits/current players are you talking most with?
The whole class has a group message, and we talk frequently.
4. What have you been working on since your season ended?
I’ve been working on getting in shape for college ball. The style of offense that is ran in the Big 12 is high octane .
5. What would you need to get better at to play early?
I feel like for me to play early I need to understand the verbiage and what signals we use to call the defense. And me just getting use to the college speed. I feel I can make and impact right away.
6. What are your goals for your first season?
To prove people wrong. To win a starting job at the nickel position. To make a impact. Finally, to be a Freshman All-American.
7. Tell me something people think is unique about you.
I feel like my raw leadership ability is something that is unique.
8. What school finished second in your recruitment?
TCU finished second in my recruitment.
9. What assistant are you the closest with?
I’m closest with Coach Blake (Seiler) and Coach (Taylor) Braet.
10. What advice would you give to other recruits after going through the process?
Don’t rush the process. The school who wants you the most will show themselves. Also, don’t chase schools that don’t show interest, let them move on and you find the right fit for you.
