1. When do you plan to get to Manhattan?

I leave for Manhattan on June 1st. The last day of school for us is May 31st. We graduate June 10th so i will stay a week in the Hat and that following weekend I will come back to Texas to walk the stage for graduation.

2. What’s your height and weight right this moment?

I am 6-foot-4 and 237 pounds. I've gotten bigger and taller.

3. What fellow recruits/current players are you talking most with?

It would probably be Jaylen Pickle. I'd say him because not only is he going to be my roommate, but he's also a really cool dude and I'd like to get to know someone that I will be living with.

4. What have you been working on since your season ended?

Coming out of my season, I weighed just about 215 pounds. I've been focusing on getting bigger. I've been hitting the weight room every chance I get. I'm working on my technique and a lot of footwork as well.

5. What would you need to get better at to play early?

I need to get better at my leadership skills and playing at 110 percent every snap, not only in a game but also in practice.

6. What are your goals for your first season?

I want to improve my practice and weight room skills. Then I want to use those skills to find a good role on the team, no matter what it is.

7. Tell me something people think is unique about you?

I think for me, I'm just a big, people-person. I'm a very outgoing type of dude.

8. What school finished second in your recruitment?

Texas Tech finished second.

9. What assistant are you the closest with?

Coach (Travis) Britz. He's a cool guy to be around, and not only that, but he also is a young assistant and we connect easier because of that.

10. What advice would you give to other recruits after going through the process?

My advice to younger recruits is that while your in high school and you still have one more year left, don’t take it for granted. Put 100 percent into everything you do. That is on the field, in the classroom and at home. Do what your peers tell you and have faith in God and what he will provide. Stay humble and don’t give up on your team.
