Bramlage Coliseum was not a kind place to Kansas State in the month of February. Four games on the home floor in Manhattan resulted in four losses for the Wildcats. Such a struggle has fans thinking back to the days of K-State basketball under Tom Asbury and Jim Wooldridge.

What was once a 15-4 team that was playing with confidence, now cannot even defend its home floor. Even the players cannot quite identify what the issues are that are causing the home woes.

“I don’t know, man. I can’t tell you what’s the recipe to that,” K-State senior Wesley Iwundu said. “We’ve got one more home game so we’ve got to come out that next home game and get a win. But I can’t tell you too much about what’s going on besides that.”

However, K-State did find some small success in February on the road, picking up wins at then-No. 2 Baylor and recently at Texas. Oddly enough, playing on the road might benefit this team more than playing at home. We will now get to find out.
