Though it comes as no surprise that Sean Snyder would remain at his alma mater and continue to work under his father/head coach, it is worth mentioning that he has signed a new three-year contract to remain the associate head coach, special teams coordinator and director of football operations at Kansas State.

Snyder's most recent salary, effective on May 1, 2017, was $422,500. Before that date, the only known salary for Snyder was $155,000 as the director of football operations.

His new contract, which was obtained by KSO through a request from the university, includes an increase in base salary to $480,000, with at least a $25,000 raise due each of the following years associated with the agreement. By the end of the three-year deal, Snyder will make in excess of $500,000 per year.

Snyder’s new contract mirrors the pact awarded to offensive line coach and co-offensive coordinator Charlie Dickey. The two are now the highest paid assistants on the staff.

All the expiring contracts on the K-State assistant coaching staff have now been extended this spring. Both Jon Fabris and Mo Latimore also signed new agreements to stay on board in Manhattan.
