It's time to get to know some new Wildcats! Over the rest of the month the KSO staff will be bringing you brief Q&A's with the incoming freshman yet to arrive on campus.

We continue the series with defensive back Logan Wilson.

Q: When do you plan to get to Manhattan?

A: June 5

Q: What is your height and weight?

A: 5-10, 170

Q: Who are the fellow recruits/commits you speak with the most?

A: Joshua Youngblood, Will Jones, Chris Herron, Kenny Givens

Q: What have you been working on since your season ended?

A: Speed, weight, agility

Q: What is the No. 1 thing about K-State that won you over?

A: The new coaches and just the facilities. And K-State is all just a big family.

Q: What are your goals for your first season at Kansas State?

A: My goals for my freshman year are to play a lot and lead the Big 12 in interceptions along with fitting in with the scheme and helping the team out.

Q: What is something that people would think is unique about you?

A: My size, my long arms, my athleticism and how I play the ball very well.

Q: What school finished second in your recruitment?

A: Iowa and North Carolina


Q: Which current assistant coach are you closest with?

A: Coach Van Malone

Q: What advice would you give to younger recruits now that you have gone through it?

A: Go to a school where you can trust the coaches. Don’t just go to a school because it’s a big program. Go where you can play and fit in there scheme. Go where there (are people) who you can trust and see your self there for the next three, four or five years.
