Kansas State hopes to dip back into Georgia once again in the 2022 cycle and one of their targets is linebacker Micah Thurman. He hails from Warner Robins, which is a military town located in central Georgia, a two hour drive southeast of Atlanta.

The state of Georgia has been a hotbed for the K-State football program, even before head coach Chris Klieman took over in Manhattan.

There are six Wildcats currently enrolled that are from the Peach State, with two more still to come in from the 2021 class in defensive back Omar Daniels and defensive end Ozzie Hoffler.

Additionally, they're chasing a number of recruits from Georgia in the 2022 and 2023 cycles. Thurman is just one.
